Lead Instructor Profile
Dr. Eaddy
has been working with students for nearly two decades. He was initially
educated at Temple University in Philadelphia. After his work on his Masters
and being the first Scholarship Football Player to be in a masters level
program while still actively playing at the university he left and moved to
North Carolina where he continued to play football in the Minor League Football
System. Following a
season with the Charlotte Barons, Dr Eaddy worked as a Mental Health Supervisor
before being asked to serve in the 85th largest school system in the
US, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. His specialty; modifying behavior and his
work specifically was to effect not only the learner but the teachers across
the school system. He served as a special education teacher and a behavior
specialist for the school system. In 1995, Dr.
Eaddy was asked by the NC State Attorney General to move to Raleigh, NC and run
his SNI office. After training over 250 Law Enforcement officers across the
state in problem solving models to make neighborhoods safer, he left to work
with Peoplefit Inc. There he learned and taught the work of Elliot Jacques, MD.
In 1998, he
was asked by the Governor of North Carolina to run his Support Our Students
Programs and other Juvenile Justice programs across the state. During this same
time Dr. Eaddy became acquainted with Steven Covey and Tony Robbins’
Organizations. Along with mentoring from Steven Covey, Dr. Eaddy began working
with youth associated with Tony Robbins’ leadership camps. Following his
licensure as an NLP practitioner, he also became a
licensed law enforcement trainer in NC. He was responsible for writing
curriculum for Robbins and consulting the Education Ministry in the Bahamas and
other consulting work for the United Nations, helping to develop programs for
youth. During most
of these years Dr. Eaddy continued to train along with Win Win and Associates
out of Charlotte amassing over 600 trainings in schools and businesses. In
recent years he has spent most of his training time working with youth groups and
people working with youth. As a
facilitator of learning and Dr. of Psychology, he believes that students do
better on standardized tests when they are more familiar with the structure of
the test and understand the intentions of the test writers. As a result of this
philosophy he continues to spend a great deal of time working with college test
preparation, using The Wizard, Bob Alexander’s curriculum. He also uses NLP
techniques to insure that his students learn the strategies to do well and
makes sure they learn what they need to fast. Have a conversation with him and you'll know why he is the go to guy for learning and learning it fast!
